Geese

Our geese at Pure Feathered poultry are raised to be strong, healthy, and well-socialized. Known for their rich meat, seasonal egg-laying, and natural watch-bird behavior, geese are an excellent addition to any backyard, farm, or rural homestead.

These birds are naturally hardy, can live for years, and thrive in both dry and wet conditions. Geese are also great at controlling weeds and sounding alarms when strangers or predators approach.

Age Range: 6 – 8 months
Breed Options: African, Embden, and Chinese (based on availability)
Purpose: Meat, eggs, guard animal, ornamental
Egg Production: 30–50 large eggs per season (mostly spring)
Temperament: Alert, territorial, and intelligent
Feeding: Grazing + grain/feed supplement
Vaccination: Fully vaccinated for common poultry diseases
Environment: Adapts well to African climates and free-range setup
