After I stumbled upon these critters I showed my son right away. He instantly started calling them “raptor chickens” and had to have one. I’ve got to admit, my feelings were the same! These birds are absolutely beautiful and its been a blast watching them grow. They’re very friendly, my kids love them, and we can’t wait for them to be full size!

These chicks are TINY and were not as lively as the black copper Marans they were shipped with upon arrival. Oddly enough, though the black copper Marans are larger and more boisterous than the lavender Marans, I lost one of each today to unknown causes. The remaining chicks are still acting normally, so maybe the hot weather during shipping just stressed them out?

Very happy with the purchase. The chicks arrived after the official batch date, but that’s something I accept with an agricultural purchase. I much preferred having sturdy chicks to fast ones. These little chicks are so stinkin’ cute! They arrived quickly in a traditional chicken box with a heating pad that was still warm when they arrived. No problem eating and drinking upon arrival, I love them and can’t wait to watch them grow.

I’m curious to see these develop and excited to add different bloodlines. The mouth inside was not the best but the ones with white toenails didn’t have any real discoloration on the toe pads underneath. I’m pleased. Healthy beautiful babies.

Very happy to have finally got my chicks. They are a gift for my uncle and I even received and extra one. He is very happy to have them. They did come late but taking into account the extreme temperature changes it is very understandable.

I ordered 6 Ayam Cemani (paid more for the imported line) they have oyster tongues & 1 is not growing. They are ok quality but no leakage or white toes (huge plus). I also ordered 6 Indio Gigantes that are also ok quality.
